Kung Hei Fat Choi

Kung Hei Fat Choi from a Filipino girl who thanks all the Chinese for having a separate day for their New Year and giving us this holiday! Hahaha. No but seriously, Kung Hei Fat Choi everyone. :) It's the year of the Dragon which according to my research is a pretty lucky year for almost all elements except Fire. Horoscopes may be true sometimes but at the end of the day, we're the ones responsible for our own luck. And speaking of luck, I decided to wear red for that Chinese New Year feel. :)

I love how this outfit just came together. I wanted to wear red but I wanna do it in a subtle way since red is a very striking color so I paired it with my striped  black and white high waist skirt. I think the combination of the colors make it simple and classy.

Shirt - Kamiseta || Skirt - Kashieca

Tassel Necklace - Accessorize || Ring - Gift
To keep the classiness going, I used minimal silver accessories. Oh and did you notice that my ring and my necklace both have leaves? Just saying. :))

Belt - Bayo

Wedges - Toms

And to complete my Kung Hei Fat Choi blog post, I leave you with Chinese related pictures that I took for the past two days from the different Chinese places we've been to. Can you count how many times I said "Chinese" in this post? :))

Happy Chinese New Year one last time, everyone. Back to the normal life tomorrow. Hope you all had a lovely long weekend! Good night! :)

PS. I have a new header and side bar!!!!! I'm so happy. I love my old header but I wanted a new one for quite some time already. Thank you to my amazing friends, Neil Arce and Carlitos Aranas, who have been very patient with all my requests and instructions! Thank you, thank you. >:D<

Love, Paola <3
